Dang, that looks nice!! I think you and i have been on the same wave length lately. I made a stroganoff last week with some left over brisket. And i got red beans and navy beans soaking at home, for Venison Kielbasa and bean soup tonight. Keep the good looking food coming Chez!!
ReplyDeletemust be the cool weather ~ creates a whole 'nuther culinary mindset. i braised a big beef chuck roast today, in homemade adobo sauce ... then shredded it. tomorrow, i'll chop it, mix some shredded cheese with it, fold in some roasted chiles & make cheesy/beef enchiladas with it, smothered with the reserved adobo that i braised the meat in. you make that venison sausage? i'm about out of homemade sausage ... need to make another 25-30# to get me thru the football season!
ReplyDeleteI wish i had made the sausage. I meat grinder and stuffer are on my list. I get most of meat in quarters and halves of animal, so i got lots of meat to make it with.
ReplyDeleteAnd man, i love me some Adovado enchiladas!!!
i bought my grinder and stuffer from northern tool ... got'em both for less than $200 and that includes delivery. northerntool.com
ReplyDeleteI will check that out. Maybe i should get that for my B-day instead of the Cajun and Creole encyclopedia i saw here. I told my wife right then that was what i wanted. Decisions decisions!!!
ReplyDeletedude, that's an easy solve: buy the wife that grinder for HER birthday! lol
