Cajun Brown Jambalaya

Andouille sausage, smoked turkey, the holy trinity, brown chicken stock, lil' Cajun Power garlic sauce, herbs & seasonings

Me gotta go pole the pirogue down the bayou.....

  1. John, good lookin plate my friend. Wife just made some chicken and sausage jambalaya the other day. Good stuff on a cold winter's day. Almost as good a chili.

    i have the old times picayune cookbook and it talks in there about the cala ladies of the old quarter who went around peddling warm rice cakes for breakfast. have you ever made these and is it worth it?
