
Goodies that went into the beans: smoked andouille sausage, bacon, onion, garlic, chiles...

Beans: pintos soaked overnight, simmered tender in ham stock, swamp sauce & tomato sauce ~ then goodies added along with molasses, brown sugar, etc

Turned out into casserole & baked

They look great as always. I've been wanting to make some scratch baked beans and have been looking around for techniques and recipes for a couple of weeks. This may have built the needed fire under me. Glad you're back.
