Mais, I made pan fried chicken the other day ... and made some roux with the pan drippins ~ used that roux yesterday morning to whip up this good gravy for a simple plowboy's breakfast. My dad loved bread & gravy, and whenever we had a meal with potatoes & gravy (which was often) ... he would finish his meal with a couple pieces of torn up bread covered in gravy. That was his *dessert* ... LOL ... my grandpa did dat too ~ so I come from a long line of gravy hounds, yeh.
Oh, my, this looks good. Haven't had this in a long, long time. Maybe soon!!
