Warm and chewy, hot out the oven ~ got milk?
I found some fudge in the freezer that I'd made last winter ... thawed it, cut some thin slices & pressed a couple of them into the center of the cookie dough before I baked them. Wasn't sure if it was gonna work, so I only did 2 on the first pan of cookies I baked. It worked great, so I did a bunch more of them on the second pan of cookies.
Nothing quite like the smell of a batch of cookies coming fresh out of the oven.
ReplyDeleteIn the building where I used to work, there was a food vending stand and it baked cookies each day. It was interesting to watch the employee population on the move when they started smelling cookies coming out of the oven.
