Shrimps tossed in a lil' evoo then dusted with my house blend blackening seasoning ... then they went into a hot skillet for a few seconds on each side. i like to bronze my shrimps before adding them to my jambalaya, yeh.

When the jaambalaya rice is about 1/2 cooked, that's when I add the meats & fold the meats into the rice - lid on and cook until rice is done.
