Oh, that looks so good. I haven't had good gooseberry ANYTHING for a decade. I tried some at a local diner recently but it was all sugar and no gooseberry. That ain't right.
gooseberries are in season now, stacia ... check your farmer's market or local veggie/fruit stands. gooseberries are kinda of a pain to clean/stem ... but the reward (if you're a gooseberry fan like me) are well worth it.
Dang that looks great Chez... I'm a gooseberry fan too.
Now I need to find some! lol
