OK ... so I git up this morning and it's cold, wet and windy with snow in the forecast for later today. Soup weather. So, I look in the fridge & there's a big ol' bunch of fresh asparagus lookin' right back at me ... quick scan turns up some Texas 1015 onion, chicken stock, whole milk, a stick of andouille, sour cream, fresh garlic, couple taters ... sounds like a chowder to me ~ badda boom, fresh asparagus/andouille chowder. Let it snow!

Oh, I wish I had come to visit you yesterday and that delicious soup would have been our supper last night! I thought we were going to blow away yesterday and it's still windy this morning...
well doggonnit, come on by for lunch today, and i'll fix you up a bowl dat soup and a grilled cheese sandwich! cold and blustery here today ... too cold for golfin' ~ might as well bake some bread today.
