Well, I had a hankerin' fer a brownie ... alas, not quite enough cocoa powder ~ dang ~ but I did have a jar of peanut butter ... also found an apple in the fridge, so I grated it into the peanut butter brownie batter ... badda boom ... peanut butter apple brownies? Then the plot thickened a lil' bit ... at the very last second, I realized that I had *just enough* cocoa powder to make a lil' chocolate ganache ... so I whooped it up and poured it over dem brownies as soon as they came out the oven ~ now we got peanut butter/apple/chocolate ganache brownies!! Is this a great country, or what?
