Love the Steve Earle. Had him on the MP3 player tonight. Some Levon Helm, Magnolia Electric Company, Old Crow Medicine Show, Crooked Still, and the Darlings too.
You ever his Steve's Kid, Justin Townes Earle? He has 2 pretty good albums too.
steve earle is a legend in our time, as is levon helm. there's some great doc movies available on netflix re: steve earle as a very young kid, playin' with townes van zandt & guy clark and other heavyweights of that genre. steve earle got a good pedigree - he learnt from the best.
