Isn't it amazing how such simple things are so important, yet so beautiful and bring back some memories.
People growing up in large cities, who do not have the opportunity to know what true country living is like, miss out on so much and generally would not appreciate something like this. There is nothing like the country experience!
The one thing that I miss are the miles and miles of hedgerows. When those were bulldozed out in the 1970s, it does seem that country living lost something. I know, economically it was better for the farmer, but it still seemed like something disappeared with the elimination of these windbreaks.
