Breakfast Biscuits ~ My Way

Ain't no dang MickyD McBiscuit, I garrontee!!

Scratch Tillamook cheese biscuits, homemade sausage ... what's not to like?

Ain't no dang Jimmy Dean sausage either. Homemade twice as good at half the price. Win/Win.

One pound of homemade sausage, hand pattied & fried up nice in the ol' Griswold black iron. If that ain't country, I'll kiss yer grits!

Din't pop these biscuits out no dang can either ... nope.

I love the way your biscuits split in the middle - just as they should.

it's no accident dey do dat. 1)lil' baking powder in the flour 2) cut cold lard & butter into the flour 3) don't overwork the dough when you make it. 4) bake in hot oven. these were a little heavier than my regular biscuits because they had cheese in them ... but still were quite good.
