Texas Sheet Cake

Buttermilk makes the crumb moist and dense ~ and the trick to keep it that way is to pour the hot frosting over the cake as soon as it comes out the oven, forming a seal that prevents any moisture from evaporating

I added a shot of triple strength espresso to this chocolate ganache frosting, and left the pecans out. Why did I leave the pecans out? Because I didn't have any, that's why...
