That pie looks phenomenal! But man, the Pork with Kraut and Spaetzel, that just begs to eaten first. in fact, if the Spaetzel is homemade, desert may be an afterthought to me.
oh yeh, spaetzel definitely homemade - easy peasy ... i use my potato/hash brown grater placed over pot of boiling water & just press batter thru the grater holes with a rubber spatula. couldn't be easier.
