BBQ KC Strip Steak

KC Strip slathered with a bbq butter, dusted with DP "Raising The Steaks" rub and broiled hot & nasty ~ sided up with roasted brussel sprouts garnished with lemon zest and scalloped corn.

well, aren't you the inquisitive one this morning! (g) the bbq compound steak butter is just soft butter and bbq sauce whisked together and slathered on the steak prior to broiling it ... and then another dollop of it on top the steak after plating it. the DP (dizzy pig) rubs are very popular with the bbq crowd, and for good reason ... made with good, fresh high quality spiced & herbs. http://www.dizzypigbbq.com/

yep, i hauled off and spent my whole stimulas refund on steaks ... done shot my wad now, so we be back to boloney sandwiches tomorrow. sure was nice while it lasted!!
